Grateful by discipline!

About that time David’s son Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith, began boasting, “I will make myself king.” So he provided himself with chariots and charioteers and recruited fifty men to run in front of him. 6 Now his father, King David, had never disciplined him at any time, even by asking, “Why are you doing that?”
1 Kings 1:5-6 NLT

Stop the discipline to our children is one of the greatest evils that we can do to them. Without discipline, our children are prone to boasting, arrogance and excessive desire for power. We must remember that discipline our children always mean that they are held us accountable, as a preventive action that helps them not to being diverted on the wrong path. Ask our children, why do you do this or that? will never be an invasion of their privacy; rather it is our responsibility and it means that they care about, that we love them and we do not want that evil govern their lives. —Thank you Lord for the privilege of discipline our children!
