Grateful for your Words!

Then the Lord reached out and touched my mouth and said, “Look, I have put my words in your mouth! Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some you must uproot and tear down, and overthrow. Others you must build up and plant.”
Jeremiah 1:9-10 NLT

It is true the word of God is living and powerful! But we must let it to penetrate into the depths of our being. Through His Word the Lord has given us the power to destroy or demolish; but more importantly, it also gives us the power to raise and rebuild. That is why we must develop the discipline to meditate daily in His Word, so that in this way we can speak with the authority of God. Being an occasional reader, or worse, do not let God speak first to our lives when we meditate on the Scriptures, not only makes us spiritually famished but religiously dangerous. —Thank you Lord for putting your words in my mouth!
