Grateful for the correction!
My child, listen when your father corrects you. Don’t neglect your mother’s instruction. What you learn from them will crown you with grace and be a chain of honor around your neck.
Proverbs 1:8-9 NLT
What do you do when you are corrected? Do you get angry, resentful, denies the reasons for which you are corrected, or simply ignores correction? However, when someone approaches us to correct us, especially when it’s someone who we know loves us, we should pay careful attention, and show respect for those who admonishes us; because a humble and not reactive attitude, increase our value as persons, will make us wiser and attractive to those around us. It is for this reason that when God corrects us, we must understand that it is because he loves us, and wants the best for us. —Thank you Lord for your correction!
