Thankful by the successors!

When they came to the other side, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me what I can do for you before I am taken away.” And Elisha replied, “Please let me inherit a double share of your spirit and become your successor.”
2 Kings 2:9 NLT

If we want to leave a legacy in this life; must leave successors. We must invest our lives in people eager to learn, and who identify with the mission of life that has been entrusted to us. A successor is not someone that we force to imitate us or to follow in our footsteps; on the contrary, is someone who has own identity, and whom we have impacted with our dreams and our work to the point that they want to continue, and assume as their own, the work that they have seen us performing. Cultivate successors is one of the biggest successes that we can achieve in our work. The true leader is not afraid to have successors; the true leader will look for them intentionally. —Thank you Lord for my successors!
