Thankful for the mentors!

“Here I am; you called me.” Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy. So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’”
1 Samuel 3:8-9 NLT

Everybody needs a mentor. Someone we respect, and that with his experience will help us to understand our calling. A mentor should be someone whom we are willing to listen, even if it means hearing things that we don’t like listening. Having a mentor means to recognize that we do not know everything, but we are ready to learn. However, the most important characteristic of a good mentor will be that, he never will take the prominence of God; on the contrary, always will advise us that above all we listen and obey the voice of the Lord. —Thank you Lord for my mentors!
