When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, searching for rest. But when it finds none, it says, ‘I will return to the person I came from.’

Luke 11:24 NLT

That Jesus has freed us from the power of the enemy does not mean that we will not suffer his attacks, and much less get rid of his desire to continue dominating us; On the contrary, should not be surprised that will lash out directly and with greater force, trying blatantly to regain control of our lives.

For this reason, cultivating an intimate communion with Jesus every day should not be an option if we stand firm in the faith. That the enemy will not dominate us again does not depend on our good will or spiritual maturity, depends that Jesus lives in us and we live under His total Lordship.
