“Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where he was tempted by the devil for forty days.

Luke 4:1-2a NLT

The enemy is always looking to make us fail and destroy us; taking advantage of our weakest moments, be they in the physical, emotional, mental or spiritual area.

But Jesus taught us by his own example, that the only way to resist temptation is to be well founded in the Lord’s Word, and let the Holy Spirit be who guide us when we are going through the wilderness of temptation.
