Original, not a copy

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Romans 12:2 NLT

The easiest thing in this world is to become the copy of someone; imitate the rich and famous, a celebrity, or someone close, for some it becomes an obsession.

Some believe that changing their outward appearance may change their inner being; but it is impossible; since a hairstyle, clothes, and glitzy accessories cannot transform hate into love, fear into security, or sin in holiness.

We are called to be originals, God created you and me with a unique design, but unfortunately our unique and excellent life’s plan has been distorted by sin; is only when we allow God to transform our thinking that our way of life will change and we be able to know the God’s will for our lives, will that always will be pleasing and perfect.

Is up to you to continue imitating the lives of others, or allow God to restore the magnificent design for your life; but, Don’t you think that life is too short to live being a copy of those around us?
