Problems and trials

“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.

Romans 5:3-4 NLT

Who told you that being a Christian is being exempt from trials and difficulties? For many, the passage “leads us in triumph in Christ” means that we’ll never face trials and tribulations in our Christian life, where this interpretation has coming?

Paul’s message is clear, being a Christian is not an easy life; because trials and difficulties are faced, but he is also clear when he says that these situations help us to develop endurance, character and hope.

When we face trials in our lives we should not ask why? We need try to understand what for? God is molding us and many times this will be through a soft, delicate touch, but other times it will be necessary to mold us by crushing or giving us a strong handle, it will be the only way to become what God wants us to be.
