“When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.

Romans 1:12 NLT

Paul teaches a very important principle for those who are in any leadership position. It is the principle of giving and receiving encouragement.

The good leaders know that one of its main functions is to inspire encouragement to their teams, to motivate them going ahead, that they develops their full potential; that they can stand firm and continue toward the goal settled.

On the other hand, the good leaders recognize that they can face moments of discouragement, moments of fatigue or moments that they will not know what to do. But the leaders also understand that the appropriate words of their team’s members, regardless of their position in the team, will be as comforting balm that encourages them.

For good leaders is very clear that can learn from their teams, because they do not know everything, this attitude makes their teams will respect them more and be more loyal.

Summarizing, the great leaders understand that they need of their team and their teams need them.
