“But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?”
Psalms 56:3-4 NLT
Being afraid is not bad; feeling fear does not make us less Christian. It is in those moments of fear, that our identity as Christians becomes more evident.
As Christians we know that when we are afraid, the best we can do is put our trust in God.
When we fully trust God, we can praise Him for His promises, because although we could feel afraid we will be sure that He will keep His word of watching over us.
When we rest in God we become to understand that nobody can do anything against us; any attack or even the death never may harm those who trust in God.
