Where the Lord go? Ahead or behind?

“Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.

Deuteronomy 31:8 NLT

These were the words that Moses told Joshua when he named him, as his successor.

As an experienced leader, Moses knew that fear and discouragement will come to Joshua during his leadership.

He also knew that always will come people that, at one time or another, will fail him or abandon him.

But Moses wisely advised him don’t put his trust in external circumstances or people.

He said to him, “The Lord goes ahead you, He will be with you”, so you need to know that your courage and motivation come from Him, He never fails you or leaves you alone.

If God goes before us in 2014; we should not fear nor be discouraged, because He will never fail us, nor forsake us.
