Prosperity and not destruction!
“Upright citizens are good for a city and make it prosper, but the talk of the wicked tears it apart.”
Proverbs 11:11 NLT
It is totally illogical and even aberrant, that in some countries the number of Christians is increasing every year, but it does not reflect any social change.
The crimes continue increasing, corruption abounds everywhere, drugs and alcohol continue being a great business and poverty becomes more acute.
If we allow Him, God is the only one who can make us upright; but this integrity should have a positive impact, benefiting and prospering the city where we live.
And how do we make our city thrive? Among other things, paying our taxes, not throwing garbage on the street, in compliance with laws, and praying for our authorities!
But a city can be destroyed with words, words that denote perversity. Criticize without providing solutions, highlighting the problems and do not to mention the accomplishments; speak with hatred and anger of the authorities -It destroys the city!
If we profess that Jesus has transformed us, we’ll make that our city thrive and we’ll not destroy it.
