Are you afraid?

“But if you are afraid to attack, go down to the camp with your servant Purah. Listen to what the Midianites are saying, and you will be greatly encouraged. Then you will be eager to attack.” So Gideon took Purah and went down to the edge of the enemy camp.

Judges 7:10-11 NLT

God promised Gideon, to give him the victory over the Midianites.

Through miracles had confirmed that He was with him; but Gideon was afraid.

But God instead of scolding him for his fear and disbelief, inspired him courage, and even used his own adversaries to infuse him bravery.

God kept His promise, and without making use of even less than 1% of the soldiers, gave victory to Gideon.

The problem is not to be afraid when we faced battles in our lives; God knows we can feel fright, and it is the reason why He encourages us.

Trust in God, because through Jesus, has already given us the victory. It is why He say that “we are more than conquerors”
