Haughtiness comes before the fall

“How Babylon is fallen— great Babylon, praised throughout the earth! Now she has become an object of horror among the nations.

Jeremiah 51:41 NLT

The greatness of any human empire or the arrogance of a leader has lasted forever; just read the story to find out.

Similarly, no pride or greatness of a person product of abuse of power, the use of force, or using his or her wealth or social position may remain forever.

The glory, power and the admiration of this world are transient; but we see many who get obsessed with these things, do not mind sacrificing the benefit of the majority or the benefit of his closest followers.

Today more than ever, the words of Jesus: “But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave”, it challenges us to live and model the greatness and leadership in a different way.
