Finding ourselves with God?

“In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord.

Jeremiah 29:12-14a NLT

God has promised that, when we ask Him something, He will hear us.

This involves being in good fellowship with Him; because we cannot pray to Him, if we are alienated from God.

But another promise of God is, that when we seek Him with all our heart, we will find Him.

Seeking God in this way is something that born within us, and not something that is imposed us from outside.

When we look for something is because we want to find it; when we seek God, should be because we really want to find Him.
