God is not surprised!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

There are events in our life that take us by surprise, unprepared; and without warning, destabilize us.

But God is never surprised by anything that happens to us, and even we could think that it is a calamity, He can use it to mold us, to help us to return in community with Him, and to make us better.

God’s plans for our lives are always characterized by three things: 1) They are for good and not for disaster, 2) They are focused on the future, this leaves behind our past and tells us that there is more than our present, and 3) are plans that we can surely expect the fulfillment about what we want, and the promises of God for our lives.
