The value of a ministry

“The priests did not ask, ‘Where is the Lord?’
Those who taught my word ignored me, the rulers turned against me,
and the prophets spoke in the name of Baal, wasting their time on worthless idols.

Jeremiah 2:8 NLT

Being Priest, Teacher, Leader (Leader) or Prophet does not guarantee being in communion with the Lord.

We can perform these duties without seeking God, without knowing him personally, we can even be sinning against Him, being communicating His message, and even, we may be serving other gods.

Do not forget that the importance of the ministry in which we are called to serve, depend on the degree of personal communion we have with God.
