A special mount

“Then the meeting broke up, and everybody went home. Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives.

John 7:53-8:1 NLT

When many retreated to the comfort and warmth of their homes, Jesus went to the Mount of Olives, where there was no comfort, no warmth of home, where no one wait for Him, and the cold night maybe permeated deep in His bones.

But there was something very important, there He met with the Father in prayer; without distraction there He could tell Him how His day was, there appeared before Him His dreams but also His challenges, fears, anxieties; and certainly He be strengthened to continue the next day, fulfilling His mission and teaching among the people.

And for you, What is your mount? Where and when is your meeting alone with God?
