May God guide your thoughts

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

Philippians 4:8 NLT

How do you feel when everything is going wrong? What goes through your mind when you are going through times of distress?

At times like this it is easy to be negative, thinking only bad, depressed and losing hope; in such circumstances are likely to believe the lies that others tell about us, we become very susceptible, and we fail to recognize our strengths and others’. In times like these we easily fall into self pity, and we got stuck in life.

But the counsel of God is that refocuses our thoughts, and even in the worst crises thinking the good, in the positive principles’ life that God has given us such as: truth, respect, justice and goodness, that our mind become filled with the pleasant, and that which deserve to be commended.

What thoughts stand out in this time in your life? Remember what the Apostle Paul said, “let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.”
