Yes, He wants to see you
“In panic I cried out, “I am cut off from the Lord!” But you heard my cry for mercy and answered my call for help.”
(Psalms 31:22 NTL)
Have you considered that God does not want to see you, and desire to cut you off from HIS presence? Do you think that your sin is so huge that it can never let you be heard by God?
These are thoughts that come from a confused mind, a mind which finds it so difficult to understand the love of God. When sin dominates the mind of a person, it makes to believe that God could never love her/him, because her/his is bad. But the Bible says that “this is real love—not that we loved God, but that HE loved us and sent HIS Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.”
God never rejects who approaches humbly before HIM; God asks nothing more than we recognize that we need HIM, and recognize that only HE can forgive our sins. Who asks God’s help sincerely will certainly be heard; HIS mercy is new every morning and is greater than our sins.
Remember, God wants to see you and hear you, come to Him.
