Do you hear the little voice?
“My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek.”
(Psalms 27:8 NIV)
The search of the Lord begins in our inner.
But do not confuse the “search” with a “good intention”. The search is practical, encourages us to take concrete actions; helps us to decide to make changes, to acquire habits that help us to grow up and stop habits that destroy us. The search helps us to depend on God and recognize who HE is in our lives. But the search is not something spontaneous in us, must be a resolution, our tendency is not to listen and often try to silence that voice that tells us: Seek God!
The good intention is a very subtle way to silence that voice, the good intention only moves the emotions and feelings but doesn’t move us to act; the good intention only makes us to think of alternatives but does not lead us to specific decisions; the good intention tells us that we must change but not urge us to make changes. The good intention tells us who God is, and don’t deny that HE is good, and HE is there but does not produce in us the absolute necessity of searching HIM.
And you Are you seeking God or just have the good intention of doing so?
