Only for those who have problems!
“Answer me when I call to you, o God who declares me innocent. Free me from my troubles. Have mercy on me and hear my prayer.”
(Psalms 4:1 NTL)
Who does not have problems in this life? Every day we face situations that make us suffer, mourn, agonize, angry, or get sad. Every day we see the need to find an answer and sometimes we tend to look at people, places or wrong ways, which instead of helping us become more difficult or tangled the problems that we already have.
Definitely the Lord is the only one who can get us out of problems; it doesn’t matter if they have been caused by other people, as well as those where we get ourselves.
But this requires at least three things from us:
- Going before God. We must come to Him and stop keep trying to solve problems by our own.
- Recognize that God is the only one who can get us out of trouble. Much of what I do to get out of trouble seems to work at the time, but it has been temporary responses, they are not definitive; is only when we allow God to act when we truly get out of trouble.
- Pray. It is in the midst of trouble when my communication with God must be even more consistent and persistent, this shows that we depend on, and trust Him.
We will always have problems in life, we cannot change this; but we can change where we go searching of a solution. We continue trying to get out by our own, or allow it to be God who frees us from the problems?
