Are you looking for happiness?

Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night.

(Psalms 1:1-2 NTL)

God wants us to live happy, this is a feature of the abundant life that is lived to the fullest. But for living happily is required to us to take some decisions in our lives:

  1. Do not follow bad advice,
  2. Do not walk in bad company, and
  3. Do not get together with people who mock God.

But God not only blesses us or gives us happiness when we avert bad advice, so He does when we decide to study His Word, loving it, wanting it with an attitude of joy, not getting closer to it just for calming our conscience or to meet Christian ritual, and only when we approach it with a humble heart and teachable spirit and learning is when we can really get the most benefit.
