Do not be fooled, much less destroy!

“Jesus replied, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many. For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones.

(Mark 13: 5-6, 22 NTL)

As children of God we must be careful because the enemy will always try to deceive us; always will put traps in order to make us fall.

The enemy is not playing, he wants to “steal” what God has given us, try to “kill” our dreams, hopes, wishes, and if possible, our life in this world. But his ultimate goal is to “destroy” for eternity our whole being: soul, body and spirit.

In what ways has the enemy wanted to deceive you? Do not try to resist deceit in your own strength. The Bible teaches us that the only way to resist the enemy, and make he flees from our life, is living in obedience to God.
